IT IS NEVER EASY TO SAY GOODBYE, BUT WE KEEP THEM ALIVE BY SPEAKING THEIR NAME, TELLING THEIR STORIES, AND REMEMBERING THE GOOD TIMES….

It was with a very heavy heart that we had to inform the membership of the passing of Miss Euletha Buckwheat Byrd, aka “Lady Byrd”, of the Bo-Key Riders, on September 13, 2017
Since the beginning of 2017, the Bo-Key Riders and SCSFHOG have gotten to know each other very well; as they helped us out with parking at the 2017 Zoo run; and we gave the Bo-Keys a hand with fund raising for their yearly scholarship awards to graduating high school seniors. Lady Byrd, Slick and the rest of the Bo-Key riders have become family to SCSFHOG and we mourn her passing with them.

The Homegoing Service for Lady Byrd was held on Saturday September 23, 2017  at St. James House of Prayer 2775 Celery Ave. Sanford, FL 32771. Per Lady Byrd’s family’s wishes they wanted as many motorcycle clubs and motorcycle riders to join in her Final Ride.

SCSFHOG members Ken Martin, James Boeder and his wife Kelly, Dave Norman and wife Tracy,  Jim Utegg, Marcella Yearwood and her son Russel and Zack Tennant, Jen Pizarro and Victor Pizarro attended the service, along with fellow Bo-Key Riders, the Buffalo Soldiers, Asphalt and Iron, Sisters from the Order of the Eastern Star, fellow Seminole County Schools Transportation employees and many, many more. It was a moving celebration of her life and legacy to so many groups that loved her.

Once again it saddened us to announce that we lost another member of SCSFHOG.  Henry Bennett lost a valiant fight with cancer on September 1st, 2017.  He will be missed by all.  Please keep Deborah and the rest of their family in your hearts and prayers.

It was with a very heavy heart that we had to inform the membership of another death in the HOG Family.  We lost our Brother Gary Crandall on June 16, 2017. Gary was the Internet Manager and former Sales Manager at Seminole Harley-Davidson.

Gary’s death was also a shock and very unexpected. He will be missed greatly.

It was with a very heavy heart that had to inform the membership of an unexpected death in the chapter. We lost our sister Kemberley Rosselot on April 4, 2017.  She was the wife of Dave Rosselot and mother of Fanci Rosselot.  Our prayers go out to all of the family and friends mourning this loss.

The Rosselot Family had asked that in lieu of flowers donations in Kem’s name go to TransLife Organ and Tissue Donation Services located at 1560 Orange Ave, Suite 450, Winter Park FL 32789  (407) 644-3770 or, you can visit their website at http://www.translife.org/
