Update: The scheduled HOG ride to Castaways in Astor is being postponed in favor of a non-HOG ride from Seminole HD to Lucky U Cycles in Wildwood. 
 
Event Description:
 
Join Lucky U Cycles and the Tunnel to Towers Foundation for the 25th Annual Remembrance Ride as we honor the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and pay tribute to the courageous first responders, military members, and everyday heroes who continue to inspire our nation.

This meaningful ride brings motorcyclists and the community together for a day of remembrance, patriotism, and fellowship while raising funds for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

Florida’s POW/MIA Remembrance Ride is sponsored by the American Legion Riders Department of Florida. Police escorted motorcycle ride from Adamec Harley Davidson, over the Seven Bridges, crossing the St. Johns River, and ending at the National POW/MIA Memorial for a POW/MIA Ceremony. 

This POW/MIA Recognition Day event is in honor of those service members who were held captive and returned, and those who never came home.

This is a community‑driven ride suggested by our members. While motorcycle‑focused, it is not an official HOG Chapter event and is managed outside of Chapter operations.

This special ride, organized and led by Mark, is designed as a one‑ or two‑night trip. We’ll catch the sunrise in Ormond Beach on Saturday, November 14, follow a relaxed, scenic route across central Florida, and finish the day with the sunset in Crystal River.

Riders are arranging their own lodging. Some will stay in Ormond Beach on the night of the 13th, some in Crystal River on the night of the 14th, and some are doing both. Mark and Candy will be at the Hilton Spark in Ormond Beach and the Hampton Inn in Crystal River, which are also recommended options.

The group will meet at the Hilton Spark in Ormond Beach at 6:30 a.m. on the 14th, ahead of the sunrise (estimated at 6:47 a.m.). After watching the sunrise together, we’ll head to a nearby restaurant for breakfast before beginning the ride.
