Ranked Riding System
Our H.O.G. Chapter has adopted a ranked riding system so that you may have a better idea of which events are best suited to you and your riding abilities. Please read through the descriptions below for more detail on our levels.
Level 1
Level 1 Rides are shorter rides intended for riders of all skill levels. These are great social rides that are close to our home dealership and should last around an hour with limited or no time on busy highways with plenty of daylight during the ride. If you can't make the start of one of these rides, consider meeting up at the final destination to spend time getting to know the group.
Level 2
Level 2 Rides are longer rides intended for intermediate riders looking for adventures further from home. These are longer scenic rides that may carry you to new cities, landmarks or challenges. They may extend between 2-4 hours in length and may have some nighttime riding or highways. Consider one of these if you hope to expand your horizons or want a bit of a challenge.
Level 3
Level 3 Rides are the most challenging adventures for skilled riders. These rides may include overnights and travel to different states, or even may require several days of riding. Day or night, paved or not, in all weather conditions, any distance and challenge is fair game here. Consider one of these if you are a seasoned rider and want to go beyond the limit of hobby and into lifestyle.
