Each member should review the Code of Conduct to make themselves aware of the proper conduct expected of members of Seminole Chapter Sanford Florida Harley Owner Group.
Code of Conduct
Seminole Chapter Sanford Florida Harley Owners Group exists for the purpose of promoting responsible motorcycling activities.
Chapter activities and operations shall be conducted in a manner consistent with a family oriented, non-political philosophy.
SCSFHOG Chapter has both a moral and legal obligation to provide a safe and friendly environment for members, guests and the public in general.
As part of the official membership to the SCSFHOG, we ask that all members and associates strictly adhere to our Code of Conduct. The following points below lists the rules for that behavior.
- Failing to abide by the Charter for H.O.G. Chapters.
- Failing to adhere to any of the Chapter rules, regulations and guidelines. (which includes un-licensed riding and un-roadworthy motorbike)
- Bringing
the Chapter, H.O.G. or Sponsoring Dealers name into disrepute. Causes include (but not limited to):
- Unruly behavior
- Drunk and disorderly
- Under the influence of legal/illegal drugs
- Aggressive behavior towards others which includes both verbal and physical.
- Disobeying official instructions issued by the Director, Committee members, or Road Captains. These instructions are for the benefit of both the Chapter as a whole and the individual.
- Any form of discrimination or harassment including sexual, racial, religious, physical or bullying.
- Undermining Chapter events or activities including coercive behavior.
- Unsafe riding includes: ‘drink riding’, speeding, general exhibition riding in a group ride or a club function.
- Conduct that creates disharmony in the Chapter.
- Vexatious behavior towards other members.
Breaches of the Code of Conduct
It is impossible to outline all the possible breaches of the Chapter Code of Conduct. General standards of public behavior, common sense and individual circumstances all influence the behavior under which we operate our Chapter. All cases of infringement will be considered by the Chapter Board of Directors and their decision will represent the Chapters overall view.
